Note that some of the films which appear on this list are not "positive"
in the "upbeat" or "uplifting" sense of the word, but are otherwise honest
and/or important portrayals of GLB people in films.  These "non-positive"
films are the only ones for which I've provided descriptions.

Note also that *every* film on this list features GLB people as central
characters, and focuses on their lives and adventures.  I've used the
filmography at the back of "The Celluloid CLoset" by Vito Russo as a
reference, and I've had input from other soc.motss movie-lovers since
I began this list (thanks, all!), but I haven't personally seen every
single movie on this list (though I've seen a great many of them).  If
I got something wrong, or if I didn't include a movie you think should
be here, please let me know.  I'll try to keep this list updated every
month or so, so as to include new films as they appear.

I do not know how many of these movies are available on videocassette
for sale or rental.  Also be advised: a fair number of these films are
in languages other than English with subtitles.

Where a question mark (?) appears in a column, it means that I don't
have the pertinent information.  If you can supply the missing info,
I'd be much obliged if you'd let me know!
